Hi, Does "come out" here mean It was reveal or It became clear/turned out?

HI John, yes I'm using this great! dictionary but since I don't know what is the noun here (restoration), I'm looking on the rest parts in the setence and I have study so I think it's something that emerged from the study?

The online dictionary shows It turned out- but I know it doesn't mean the same as emerge
