After all much efforts, the match came down to weather condition and I couldn't take single wicket in the match.

I mean, by the sentence, that -- Though I put enough efforts to take wickets, I couldn't do it because the pitch has been strongly influenced by the weather condition which suits only to batsmen.

Could you help me on this?
