Task 2: In a number of countries, some people think it is necessary to spend large sums of money on constructing new railway lines for very fast trains between cities. Others believe the money should be spent on improving existing public transport. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
It is true that the question of whether to building railway systems or refining public transport remains a source of controversy in the traffic field. Although several nations believe the government’s budget should progress the popular transportation, I would argue that investing in new railway lines is a crucial point.
On the one hand, there are several merits to investing in public transport. It is worth considering the multi-use of public transportation as buses. In complex terrain regions, spending resources to improve current public transportation is a productive strategy; instead of building more railways. Furthermore, by improving public transport, the quality of service would be enhanced, resulting in an increase in the demand for using public transportation. For example, governments could upgrade bus, or put more bus stops which few utilities along.
On the other hand, there are strong reasons why building new railway lines have several benefits which are noticeable recent. Because some railways construct on undergrounds, they could not be affected by bad weather. For example, if you have to go to work on snowing days, subways would be a perfect choice. Besides, the most modern railway systems help citizens to effectively optimization their time. One of the prominent advantages of trains is their rapid speed, which is suitable for users who want to save considerable time. As a result, more and more inhabitants would have plenty of time for doing multi-tasks.
In conclusion, although both views certainly have some validity, it seems to me that it is better to invest in more fast railways by the government’s budget. This insight is extensively worthy amid busy societies. (268 words)
