Topic: The table below gives information on consumer spending on different items in 5 different countries in 2002. Summarise, make comparisions where relevant.
Here is my writing. Hope you will correct it soon, thanks.
The table illustrates the proportion of people expense on 3 different categories from 5 countries in 2002. Overall, food/drink/tobacco (FDT) contributed the highest percentages of all the countries. In contrast, leisure/education (LE) is the least important item throughout the consumers.
It is clear that Turkey citizens spending in FDT was considerably higher than the others, at 32,14%, followed by was Ireland, at 28,91%. Turkey still play a vital role in the ratio of LE, at 4,35% ; also Italy, at 3,20%. The expenditure on clothing and footwear (CF) was significantly larger in Italy, at 9,00%.
On the other hand, people who live in Sweden seemed do not pay much attentions on foods and clothes than in any of the other countries. Since they account for just 15.77% in FDT group, and 5.40% in CF, while the lowest number in LE belonged to Spain, at just 1.98%.
