Cambridge English 14 - Test 1 Witing Task 1

The data given in the pie charts displayed the proportion of three nutrients kinds in a common meal in USA.

Overall, the most significant ratios belong to dinner for sodium and fat; meanwhile, snacks have the greatest amount of added sugar.

It can be seen from the first pie chart is that the amount of sodium in dinner occupies the largest fraction at 43%. Follow by lunch with 29% and the smallest percent is represented by breakfasts and snacks at 14%.

What is worth mention about the second chart is that saturated fat in dinner still account for the greatest fraction the same as sodium at 37%. Coming next are lunch and snacks with 26% and 21% respectively. The least remarkable ratio is made up by breakfast with 16%.

Lastly, it is possible to see from that last pie chart is that it is snacks that formed the most considerable amount of added sugar at 42%. It is followed by dinner and breakfast at 23% and lunch at 19%. Breakfast shown the least considerable proportion at 16%.
