The two maps illustrates changes in the routes to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010.
It is noticable that some main streets surrounding the hospital still remained, while some places were relocated.
In 2007, on the way to the hospital was City Road and Hospital Road, but two new roundabouts linking City Road and Hospital Road, Hospital Road and Ring Road were built. However, the hospital still located on the same street – Ring Road. Along Hospital Road, there used to be bus stops and a car park for staff and public also but 3 years later, these stops vanished. Instead, a new bus station was constructed on the left of the road and a car park for staff only was on the other side. Meanwhile, public could park in a separate parking area right next to the hospital on the right.
In conclusion, the two main features which were the city hospital and staff car park were still sited in the same position. Meanwhile, bus station, public parking area and 2 roundabouts were added to the way leading to the hospital.
