2) calories out = In keeping your body working and doing exercise you burn those calories.

You should not use it. It has the fatal fuzzines of most slang, and it makes the writer sound like a wanna-be-hip adolescent, at best. Be content to understand what it means when you see others make the mistake of writing or saying it.
