calls on/with a phone mande in Finland

I answered calls on a phone made in Finland and spoke to people from two other countries.

What does on indicate in the above sample? Could I use with instead of it? Thanks.

' With ' does not sound right at all with ' answered calls '; we usually speak on the telephone -- I have no idea why that particular preposition.

Thanks, Mister, for your consideration.

Hi,

I answered calls on a phone made in Finland and spoke to people from two other countries.

This means that the phone was manufactured in Finland. Is that what you mean? It seems like rather an odd fact to include in this sentence.
