Hi, I've never hear that word in my life. It's not in my Oxford Dictionary, although it does seem to be in some others. Maybe it is an American term?

Hi,

I've never hear that word in my life. It's not in my Oxford Dictionary, although it does seem to be in some others.

Maybe it is an American term?

No, it's not. (At least it's not one that I've ever heard.)

If it is an Americanism it's not a widespread one because I've lived all my life on the East Coast and I've never heard of it.
