Calling(?) Insurance

Would somebody please tell me what is the correct or appropriate word to use when you want to call out an insurance like in ths example:
The Client is entitled to 'call' the insurance for its application at any point in time.

Hi Clive, what I meant was, what is the appropriate word to use/substitute the word 'call' in the sentence that I've mentioned. Is the appropriate word 'summon,' 'evoke,' or any other word.

Here's an example of what we actually say.

Tom had a car accident.

He made a claim on (less commonly, 'against') his car insurance.

Hi,

Perhaps 'call upon your insurance policy'.

Possibly 'invoke', but that is usually used for authority. eg He invoked the law.
