What is the origion of using the phrase California stop for rolling stop? What does it have to do with California?
Ex. I got pulled over for Callifornia stop.

Thank you Clive. I also think that, they do this kind of stop alot in California and that's the reason for that.
I found that, Rhode Island roll is another term used for rolling stop.
