Called to office/ Called to his office

Hi

I came across the sentence: God called Jeremiah to His office. (to be His messenger to His people)

We know that God does not have a physical office, so is this sentence correct or should the word 'His' be deleted?

Please help.

Thank you

writingtosms We know that *** does not have a physical office, so is this sentence correct or should the word 'His' be deleted? Without context, it's impossible to know. It sounds like a little joke, with *** as the boss and Jeremiah as an employee.
