called

Before I called you, I was always preoccupying that you were available today. As you said that you were not free, I should have said when you were available and what type of cuisine would you like to eat but I didn't. Would you pardon me? I am sort of clumsy on the phone with you sometimes. I just don't know what the reason is. Mmm….I guess it is ok.

Are they correct?

Thank you

I'm not sure what meaning you intend to convey in some of this, but here's my guess. Before I called you I was wondering whether you would be free today. When you said you weren't free, I should have asked when you would be available and what kind of food you like, but I didn't.
