Could you please help me correct my following sentence?

I don't want to be pissed off but I can't help being so when I find out I've just called three friends up successively. Neither of them answered. Arg!

Many people consider '****** off' a vulgar and offensive expression. You could say 'irritated', 'grouchy', 'annoyed'.
