Hi
Please tell me if my reasoning is correct
1. I remember learning we do not use as after call as it used shown here.
We called him the messiah.

2.But I think as after call seems OK here as the name given is not commonly used to address the people.
Gandhi called the untouchables as the Harijan, the children of God.
