Calendar events and capitalization

Are calendar events supposed to be capitalized? I know that holiday calendar events like "Independence Day," or "Memorial Day" are supposed to be capitalized, but what about other, non-holiday calendar events?

For example, is it:

"Weekly staff meeting"

or

"Weekly Staff Meeting"

Thanks in advance.

Yes. However, I didn't mean ordinary text, I meant calendar events written on an actual calendar. If I put up an event on a calendar (like "Weekly staff meeting"), do I capitalize it or not?

If it's in a context where it can be treated as a notice, heading, headline, label or similar, you are free to choose any capitalisation style: "Weekly Staff Meeting", "Weekly staff meeting", or even "WEEKLY STAFF MEETING" (provided you apply the same style to all items consistently).
