How would you say those triangles on both sides of 2009/04?

I would say << < 2009 > >> "double triangles" and "a triangle"

Or maybe 'blinkers'?

Thanks.

Geometrically they are triangles, but I would take into consideration how they are used and call them pointer buttons. I'm assuming they do something when you click on them. Double left pointer button, left pointer button, right pointer button, double right pointer button.

I think it's a great answer. Thanks, CJ.
We absolutely need to say the directions, not just their shapes!
