calculate at?

Evaluate this sentence for me

"In order to calculate this number we calculate at the net cash flow in each period."

I saw this somewhere, I can't remember where, and was wondering shouldn't it be just

"we calculate the net cash flow in each period."

what is 'at' doing there?
