Caffeine dip

Can you please tell me what caffeine dip means? Does it refer to some kind of an addiction?

It also uses the word dip.

The word "caffeine" doesn't go with the word "dip" in the article. "Dip" goes with "test". So it is a dip test to check for caffeine in a drink. You dip a chemically-treated stick into a cup of beverage to test for how much caffeine it contains.
