1 I t was so cold outside the bed that when she got back in she caccooned herself in the sheets.

I think this is the first time I've ever heard "cocoon" used as a verb. It certainly makes a clear image of what the writer is intending. My feeling about it is that somehow implies the intention of staying in the sheets for quite a while.
