Hi,

Please help me with the following.

Should I say that it is hydrocarbon gas or that it is hydrocarbon in gas condition or something like that?

Specifically it is 'Butane' with this formula which is a saturated hydrocarbon and it is a gas at room temperature so 'hydrocarbon gas' is perfectly acceptable.
