Hi, Is it a good sentence: I wish it would stop raining by tomorrow . If it's raining today, it's usually quite possible that it may stop raining by tomorrow. So, this sounds better.

Hi,
Right now, here in Toronto, it's 5 degrees.

I wish the temperature would go up to 35 degrees by tomorrow.

But it's impossible.

I wish it would stop raining tomorrow. (This means that it is unlikely that it will stop raining tomorrow. I don't think this is what you want to express.)

Yes, this is what I wanted to express, I just wanted to use "wish" and "by tomorrow"

Thanks

Newguest, for that to sound natural, you must have a very strong belief that it will NOT stop raining. The weather forecast must have called for two more days of rain. If you believe it may, or that there's a reasonable chance that it will, then "I wish" is not the right choice.
