It is more correct to say "My supervisor and I" rather than "I and my supervisor"

Hi,
It is more correct to say "My supervisor and I" rather than "I and my supervisor"

Are you suggesting it is more correct in terms of grammar, or in terms of politeness, or both?

If only in terms of politeness, have you considered that the context suggests that the supervisor is not present?

Best wishes, Clive

Oh the impolite things we can say about our supervisors when they're not present!
