By or at

Is it proper to say one is "excited by the propect of working with you" or "excited at the prospect of working with you"

Top answer

Google hits seem to favor 'by' by about 3 to one. This doesn't take into account however, the context in which the terms appear, such as "near the geographical point". I believe I normally say 'at'.
