Is this sentence right?
"She was a brave girl who by having faith to her religion and regulations, would labor hard jobs to earn money for soldiers."

Maybe "regulations" can be replaced by "directions"!

I was unsure as to whether regulations referred to the religion. If so, the more usual words are prescripts, principles, doctrine, canon.

I think there is something wrong with the original text. Because it is not clear if it is related to the religion.
"Religion" alone suffices.
