Nothing wrong with the "by doing this" part. I find the first part rather dense, however.

We constantly reorder and prioritise our demands and interests with [others / our co-workers/ our enviromnent/others in our surroundings] and, in doing so, we actually negotiate, without being consciously aware of it.
