By bus, by car, etc

Hi

I am aware that the set expressions is "by bus", but if the speaker has to mention the kind of bus, can he use an article?

Do you find these sentences natural?

I come by a different bus and go by a different.

She comes by a local van but goes back by a private taxi.

Mr. Tom if the speaker has to mention the kind of bus, can he use an article? He can, but even then he doesn't always have to.
