Buzz has worn off

Hello....

What does the underlined part mean?

1. Though I haven't burned out on it

2. the buzz has worn off

*************

5. The Maggies Cryptic Valentine 8/20/2000 - 10 points
Kudos to Ed for introducing me to the Maggies. When I first heard
it, I knew it was a top 10, and I was sure it would be in the top three. The
vocals are irresistible, although I wish they would sing more individually
instead of in harmony. There's not a bad song on the album, although there
are some I prefer (Long Dark See You, Solid Yellow Zero) to others (Green).
It is so accessible that I worried I would tire of it fast. Though I haven't
burned out on it, the buzz has worn off a bit, which is why this dropped from
top three to top five. Also, if there were an award for best cover, Cryptic
Valentine would get it.
