It is because traffic congestion can prevent them from driving cars to the bookstores or supermarkets. Even that if they arrive in their destination, hundreds of line may discourage them again. Waiting for a half of hour in the counter is really a torture for them and they do not have a mood for shopping. Additionally, with the assistance of the internet, go shopping is really convenient. Customers can review all kinds of goods within thirty minutes rather than roaming several kilometers in the stores. They even know all uses of items without asking any staff. Last but not least is the better prices. This is because products will directly send to consumers and does not experience any intermediate stage. Morever, many websites often provide several deals and discount coupons which is easily got and save much customers’ budget.

On the other hand, there is some drawbacks of shopping via the internet. At first and foremost, customers do not know what they are getting. Actually, many websites allow purchasers to receive a parcel and sign their names for confirmation. Checking inside the parcel is strictly prohibited so that they do not know what they are receiving, they just believe in the sellers instead. In additon, shipping problems and delays are usually seen if shopping online. Sometimes, the shipper can deliver the wrong address or the order form can be delayed for many reasons. The result is, purchasers’ items can be sent to others and that person receive and use them without paying any charge because all charges have already been paid online.

To conclude, although there are several demerits which dissatisfy the most difficult people, shopping online is still the good option of a large number of consumers because of it’s benefits. Furthermore, the role of shopping online is enhanced in this lockdown time when peole avoid going outside.
