Buying in large quantities
Hi,
If I bought some commodity that is in stock at a warehouse, in exceptionaly large quantities (e.g. I'm not talking retailer stores here, I'm talking warehouses), do you think these sentences would be apt to describe that ?
1. I bought flowers by the gross.
2. They sold me flowers at wholesale.

MrPernicketydo you think these sentences would be apt to describe that ?I think those would work, but neither necessarily implies that you bought them at a warehouse or that they were stored in a warehouse.
1. I bought flowers by the gross.
2. They sold me flowers at wholesale.
