Buying in large quantities

Hi,

If I bought some commodity that is in stock at a warehouse, in exceptionaly large quantities (e.g. I'm not talking retailer stores here, I'm talking warehouses), do you think these sentences would be apt to describe that ?

1. I bought flowers by the gross.

2. They sold me flowers at wholesale.

Thanks !

I think those would work, but neither necessarily implies that you bought them at a warehouse or that they were stored in a warehouse.
