Buy Something By Money

Hello everyone,

Is it correct to use "by" in the following sentence?

I bought that mobile by money.

That means I paid money and got the mobile. You know that sometimes you may buy something from someone, and you give them something in return other than money.

I think "with" is perfectly natural as follows:

I bought that mobile with money.

Regards,

Joseph
