Buy Original, See Original

Golden Screen Cinema (GSC) has an adverdisement saying that:

"Buy Original, See Original"

I wonder that is it suppose we say it as "Buy Original, Watch Original" ?

Yvonne ,

I think I know what you are thinking. We will say" we are going to see the newest Batman movie in the theater". But for the same movie on DVD, we then say "we are going to rent the newest Batman and watch it on my new 50" LCD.

YOu are right, watch original DVD!

In which case, 'see' works about as well as 'watch' since seeing is a non-volitional activity. If you buy the original, then you cannot help but see the original movie (whatever its format).
