Buy music

Someone said, "I'm going to buy music".

She means she's going to a music shop and buy a music CD, kind of.

What I am wondering here is that whether the phrase "buy music" here is correct or not.

I just have a sense of something unnatural.

Could you explain?

Thank you so much!
