I wonder why the phrase "do everything else" is vague to you.
There are thousands of sentences that have used "everything else" within but I don't know why "do everything else" is vague to you.
I say to myself that "do everything else" in option A means "do another thing in order to produce happiness"

Well, it doesn't. 'everything else' is not 'another thing'.
