Dear members

We are twins, 'but' we look different from each other.

Even though we are twins, 'but' we look different from each other.

Shall I use 'but' in the two sentence showing above or use in one of them?

Even though we are twins, 'but' we look different from each other. but only works in the first one. If you have a clause with 'although', 'though', or 'even though', you can't use 'but' in the other clause.
