Business Memo... Help me out ?

I was am writing a Business memo and would like some input here. I am a native English speaker but I am not sure if a sentence that I wrote in the memo sounds correct, and I wanted a platform so someone could hear me out.

BELOW IS THE PARAGRAPH: (highlighted in BOLD is the sentence I would like input on, but not limited to the entire paragraph)

Chapter six was full of examples on how corporations, or employees lacked “unchanging standards” or “rules of demeanor”. One could say, that without these “standards” or “rules” the work place could get quite chaotic. It would go against a firm’s culpability if it were to be brought to the surface through the media or possibly a whistle-blower. It might possibly mean serious ramifications to that specific firm’s reputational persona. With the absence of ethical standards and no guidelines for executives to follow or put into place by leading management this is a recipe for catastrophe. If workforces are not guided correctly and look up to top managers for direction they start to look at other employee’s conduct to justify actions that they commit.

A company that “lacks” or does not have a well put together code of bearing, or top manager in charge to oversee the behavioral decisions by other managers, employees or the like is one that can be concluded to have a weak ethics plan. <--- SENTENCE, RUN ON ?...

On the other hand, one that has a strong ethic’s plan is one that has a “printed/written code of conduct”, one that has an “moral officer” to overlook decisions the company makes or is going to make. Companies with tailored curricula tend to be much more successful than those that either completely lack a strong tailored ethics program which includes its policies
