Business Email - Politely saying that I do not want to use their services.

Hi all,

I wonder if you could give me some assistance, with regards to emailing a small business advising that I do not want to pursue suing there services.

The situation is as follows:-

  • Meet individual from this company at a business networking event, exchanged details
  • Agreed to have a meeting, advised at the end of the meeting, that, that it would be unlikely that I would use this service (advertising) at this present moment in time, also during the meeting I discussed about another service they provide (website design)
  • The individual from the company has called again, wanting to set up a meeting about this, and advised that I would email them.

  • I really do want to pursue using there services, however as you can see, I’m not sure how to say this in a polite but professional manner.

Therefore could I have some assistance in this area?

    Regards

    Allan

Hello AGS, welcome to English Forums! I would say something like: Dear X, Thank you very much for agreeing to come in and see me last week and to tell me about the services your company can provide. Unfortunately we're unlikely to be putting any additional resources into [website design] in the foreseeable future, so a meeting would probably not be appropriate at the moment.
