Bus numbers and using bus stops to measure distance

Hey!

When telling someone to get on a bus with a specific number or telling them which bus we're on, what's the right way to say it? Do we use articles?
-Get on bus 700 / I'm on bus 700?

The second question - can we measure a distance in bus stops? Are these sentences okay?
-Get off in 3 bus stops
-The station is 3 bus stops from the school

Thanks! Emotion: smile
