Burn out

Every time she receives a comment that's anything less than glowing praise for her work, she becomes thoroughly dispirited. This stresses not only her work life but also her personal life, because friends and partners have quickly burned out on her emotional ups and downs.

I can guess 'burned out on' here mean get sick of. Do I understand this right?

Thanks in advance!
