burden

Hello,

If I say "I had to take up a large share of the buden of caring for my daughter," does the use of the word 'burden' make it sound as if I hated the task? Or will most people interpret the word in a neutral way? Thank you.

'Burden' has a negative connotation. You didn't exactly hate it, but you definitely didn't enjoy it.

Should I use "for" or "of" after responsibility here: "....the responsibility for / of caring for my daughter"

Thanks.
