Bumps on its way

CHANCE PE DANCE is all set to release in January and no wonder, Ken Ghosh is excited. The film had a few bumps on its way but now that the final product is ready and waiting to reach out to audiences, Ken can look back at the journey with a smile.

Could you please explain to me the meaning of "bump on its way" in this text?

So you mean, a few bump on its way = (few shootings were pending) but now it's complete and the film is ready to set be released.
