Built up / make a tent

Can I say,

(a) Last weekend, they went camping.They put up / put on / set (up ) a tent in the jungle.



(b) Ali is a boy scout. One sunny morning, he camped in the jungle for 3 days. He made a big tent.



(c) On the sunny day, They had reached the jungle, so they built up some camps to take a rest.



(d) Ali went camping with his friends. They built up / built a tent and collected branches to make a campfire.
