Build or built up?

Someone sent me this:

"Hi Krishia! How time flies...I remember during ta Loidz and my highschool days...
you were a baby and so tiny then! Look at you now! Well I guess it only means one thing ...
ta Loidz and I are getting older, huh?! I'm happy to see that you've grown into a fine lady!
God bless! =)"

I wanted to reply her with this:

"HAHA!
Hello! Thank you! Emotion: smile
Yes, time just flies. Back then, I was the baby. Now, you both have your own. And I am more happy to see that you built upa successful and happy family. Cheers! God bless! Emotion: smile"

Am I wrong for using built up? Or is there anything wrong you notice in my grammar? Please help. Any reply will be appreciated. Thank you! Emotion: big smile

We don't use built (up) for a family. We use raised . And I am happy to see that you have now raised a successful and happy family of your own.
