In fact, in the UK, ****** is a very mild word. It's used as an expletive even by my 80 year old mum who 'doesn't swear!'. 'Little ******' is used to describe naughty/mischievous children in a way that isn't quite 100% polite but is often an affectionately exasperated way by their pare

Ok, literally, yes it's a word for **** ***, gay or otherwise. Sometimes it is used in this meaning.

But it also gets used in the way I described when it doesn't have the original sexual connotation. 'Little ******' isn't used for the sexual meaning. 'Little sod' is used in the same way, clearly from the same source idea. It must sound odd but these really aren't that rude to say and n
