Bugged

0 This phrase, heard frequently, has always bugged me: "more importantly". Is it grammatically correct? 02br

00Also, the phrase, "having said that"-- again, written and heard so often-- I don't question its grammatical legitimacy, but it almost always seems to imply the thought: "Just in case you think I'm not done explaining myself..." 0-

0'More importantly' is OK, I suppose, as a sentence adverb-- at least, I am guilty. -- and then wishing to go on to mention exceptions/second thoughts/alternatives/etc. I wouldn't understand it as your implication suggests.
