budweiserman of the match?

Hello, Everyone!

Yesterday Korea won a game againt Togo. "JungHwan Ahn" made a second Korean goal. And the paper wrote that he was a 'Budweiser man of the match'. Budweiser is a brand of beer, isn't it? Is there any other meaning? Thank you for reading.

It means that the Budweiser company was sponsoring the game in some way, or at least the 'man of the match' aspect of the game.
