Brush me up, will you?

Hi all,

I'm a translator and need your help.

One of my clients are claiming about my regular rate, and the below will be my reply. Will you please brush it up? It's important for me. He's a good client, so I would like to convince him.

I apologize that I should've made sure about my regular rate before translating the file, and that I assumed you knew that $0.12 was a promotional rate.

Regarding the rate setting for you, since the contents of the apps are rather simple, I could lower it until $0.15, but couldn't make it $0.12.

I'm certainly aware that there are many companies of translation services whose rates are lower than mine, but I put the quality first and completing a good decent translation usually takes decent amount of time, too.

to be continued..

Thank you in advance,
M.

Your client is complaining , correct? This is how I would write your letter: I apologize for this misunderstanding . that I should've made sure, about my regular rate before translating the file, that you understood what my regular rate was.
