Broken

I lie broken upon the floor
Waiting for something I can’t name.
All my broken pieces scattered about
With only me to blame.

I’ve forgotten how to hold on
Or where I’m trying to go
I only know I’m not there
And I sit here alone

Hi Tryst, It seems that the "I" of the poem is really broken- brokem in many things. But, don't you think that the damages are fixable? Think about it.

Thank you, Yes the "I" is fixable..it's just finding the right path to fixing it. It seems as if those paths are always the slowest. The poem is unfinished but it's the most I have been able to write in a long time.
