Broadcasting or publishing?

Hi there
Would you say that a website was broadcasting online news or publishing them? Which would be more accurate? Thanks.

No streaming media, text and image only. Being posted on a website, would it be publishing or broadcasting?

I listened to radio for many years before there was TV. That was "broadcasting" to me.
Of course broadcasting has other meanings. It can be a farmer spreading seeds over his field.
But to me there has to be some kind of progress. It can't be static (standing still).

If you say, "No streaming media," I say "broadcasting" is not the right word.
Between the two, I'd choose "pub
