British spelling

British spelling: How do you spell 'practice' when it is used as an adjective e.g. the practice assessment? I am assuming it is spelt with a 'c' as per the noun and not the verb. Many thanks,
Annette

Yes, it is spelt as the noun is, because it remains a noun even when modifying another noun.
